Position Overview

We are looking for a Team Leader to spearhead the Advanced Propulsion division at Huntington Ingalls Industries. This role is crucial in driving the innovation and development of the next-generation fast attack submarine, SSN(X).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design and development of generator components for turbine generators.
  • Lead the creation of specifications and ensure thorough supplier evaluations.
  • Manage the production process, including testing, validation, and resolution of technical challenges.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 9 years of pertinent experience in the field.

  • In-depth technical knowledge of generators.
