Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Manager in field operations.
  • Review project bid documents, permits, and proposals prior to the commencement of construction.
  • Engage in management meetings to provide insights.
  • Offer constructive feedback to managers and the project team.
  • Provide both office and field support; work from the office when project sites are inactive.
  • Maintain electronic records and document calls regarding project updates.
  • Conduct on-site data collection using GPS systems and software before backfill operations.
  • Track and submit weekly quantity reports.
  • Coordinate and participate in GSR review and field meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Foremen and Project Managers to update project schedules.
  • Generate RFI/change order estimates with input from the Superintendent.
  • Identify out-of-scope work or changes in conditions that necessitate an RFI.
  • Notify property owners regarding project updates.
  • Monitor project as-builts and final GSR submissions.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and Scheduler to revise project timelines.

Qualifications:
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
  • 3-5 years of academic progress towards a degree in Construction or Project Management.
  • Strong background in construction or a keen interest in the industry.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field crews.
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of GPS systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and web-based applications.
  • Willingness to spend 90% of time in the field and work remotely as needed.
  • Variable working hours, ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week based on project demands.
