We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Specialist to join our team at Global Channel Management. As a Packaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our packaging processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the design and development of packaging components, including bottles, caps, and labels.
- Assist in the testing and qualification of new packaging materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage stability testing and qualification of new bottle blow molds in their formulas.
- Support Package Engineers in coordination of line trials, documentation, and reporting.
- 1 year of experience as a lab technician or other retail packaging field in a manufacturing environment or a bachelor's degree in a technical field like Packaging Science with 0-3 years of experience.
- Must be familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CAPE, Artios, and CAD is a plus, not required.
- Self-starter, able to work on own and small teams, seeks out new work and responsibilities is important.
- Ability to manage time and multiple activities is essential.
The Packaging Specialist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, involving active movement and setup/repair of small equipment. The role requires the ability to lift cases up to 35 lbs and work in a team environment.
