Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality behavioral services to students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address target behaviors
- Provide one-on-one support to students in a special education classroom or individual setting
- Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions and measure progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Provide de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to manage challenging behaviors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and school staff
- Active IL RBT certification from the BACB
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a behavior specialist role
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. psychology, education, special education)
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Competitive hourly rate ($25-$28)
