Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote an interdisciplinary and collaborative design culture
  • Program and plan projects, including concept design and development
  • Manage and lead A/E design teams, ensuring timely and effective project delivery
  • Interact with clients and build strong relationships, communicating effectively at all levels of a project
  • Develop and present design solutions, considering code analysis and research, materials and product analysis, and specification writing
  • Prepare and manage construction documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate communication between clients and Bergmann, resolving issues and managing business concerns
  • Deliver clear and timely feedback to project teams, monitoring performance and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Establish and maintain regular project meetings, including client, internal team, and consultant meetings
  • Monitor client and technical issues, minimizing liability and ensuring timely resolution
  • Highly organized and able to multitask, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the Science, Technology & Industry sector, with a strong background in architecture
  • NCARB Certification and licensure as an Architect
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of a project
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Client-facing experience, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations
  • Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, with prior experience with SketchUp, Google Earth, Enscape, BlueBeam, SpecBuilder Cloud, and CTM BIM Suite
