About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our Architecture team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in leading our design team and collaborating with clients to deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage A/E design teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts that meet their goals.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and ensure design accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and design software to ensure the delivery of innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in architecture, with a focus on civic and public works facilities.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent work experience.
  • Architecture licensure (NY) required, with NJ and CT licensure a plus.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, technical knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor team members and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience with project management, business development, and interview activities.
