The Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites Columbia Downtown is in search of a Catering Sales Manager to enhance our business through strategic sales initiatives. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality and possess a strong sales acumen.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and nurture client relationships to uncover new business prospects.
- Tailor catering offerings to align with client requirements.
- Guarantee seamless event execution in partnership with the food and beverage department.
- Draft and oversee proposals and contracts.
- Stay updated on market trends and best practices in the industry.
- Create Banquet Event Orders and support Rooms Coordinator functions.
- Follow up on sales leads and conduct site inspections to boost sales.
- Engage in industry events and trade shows to broaden professional network.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of Delphi FDC is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver equipment as necessary.
