Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures, focusing on patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MRI scans on all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.
  • Support and help achieve departmental goals and participate in departmental improvement activities.
  • Help position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards, magnet safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification through ARRT.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • 1+ years experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to train in Cardiac MRI.
  • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required.
