MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist plays a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team, performing high-quality MRI procedures on patients as requested by physicians or licensed providers. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and immobilization.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Less than 1 year of experience in MRI technology or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
