The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager, Advertising to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory affairs department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our advertising and promotional materials comply with applicable regulations and guidelines. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our marketing strategies and campaigns to ensure they are effective, compliant, and aligned with our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Review advertising, promotional, corporate, and other non-promotional materials for U.S. region to assess compliance with applicable regulations, guidance documents, and internal policies/best practices.
  • Strategic Planning: Define regulatory advertising objectives to ensure campaigns are effective and appropriate for their intended audience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with managers in sales, marketing, and brand management to review campaigns that will help them achieve marketing and sales goals.
  • Brand Strategy: Align with the organization's overall advertising and promotional strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in engineering, science, or a closely related discipline is desired.
  • Regulatory Experience: 4-5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or quality within medical devices is preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Management/leadership experience with direct reports is highly desired.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of commercial regulatory requirements associated with advertising and promotion of medical devices is required.
