Salary: $123,000 - $182,200 annually

The full salary range for this position reflects the competitive compensation package offered by the University. Salary offers are based on a variety of considerations, including education, licensure, certifications, experience, and organizational needs.


Job Description:

The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Engagement serves as an executive strategic partner for the Student Affairs organization, focusing on enhancing the student experience, increasing student success, and supporting campus engagement. This critical role directs complex programs, provides executive-level leadership, and oversees budget, financial oversight, and human resource management for various units within Student Affairs.

This position involves frequent representation of the Student Affairs organization at campus and community events, conferences, and internal and external committees. The AVCSE will lead organization-wide initiatives, decisions, and policy matters involving students and student engagement initiatives throughout the University.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs complex programs and initiatives within Student Affairs
  • Provides executive-level leadership and strategic guidance
  • Oversees budget, financial oversight, and human resource management
  • Represents Student Affairs at campus and community events
  • Leverages partnerships to enhance student engagement and success
