**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders
* Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy
* Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care
* Perform duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

* Graduate from an approved School for Respiratory Care
* Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License
* One year of experience in respiratory care, not including time on orientation
* Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
* ACLS certification
* PALS certification for coworkers working in the Emergency room
