Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to work for Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. in the United States.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will have experience operating various heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, graders, excavators, and more.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
- Maintain equipment by lubricating, fueling, and cleaning it regularly.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
- Clean waste from equipment body and wheels throughout the day.
- Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
- Complete all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertion.
- Ability to withstand bumpy rides on equipment.
- Dependability and ability to identify daily operational requirements.
- Good verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to work in conditions with exposure to weather elements.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lifting/carrying up to 10lbs.
- Occasionally lifting/carrying up to 20lbs.
- Continuously pushing/pulling up to 10lbs.
- Frequently pushing/pulling up to 20lbs.
- Occasionally stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling.
- Occasionally climbing and/or balancing.
- Working in continuous areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter.
- Working in continuous mechanical, electrical, and/or other hazards.
Additional Working Conditions:
- Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
- Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
- Availability for 24-hour emergency calls.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license (if applicable).
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
