Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified AICE Chemistry Teacher to join our team at Oasis Charter High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality instruction to students in AICE Chemistry, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and goals.
  • Assess student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support student growth.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and social responsibility.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and expertise, enhancing the overall educational experience for students.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of chemistry education, incorporating relevant technologies and methodologies into instructional practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Florida teaching certificate covering AICE Chemistry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
