We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
- Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates to ensure a high level of technical expertise.
- Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality and meet regulatory requirements.
- Complete work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner to meet production deadlines.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
- Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
- On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.
- Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
- Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
