Job Summary:

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive worksite health and wellness program for employees at Pivot Onsite Innovations' client site in St. Louis. This position requires a strong background in athletic training, with a focus on injury prevention, ergonomic risk assessments, and health education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Health and Wellness Initiatives: Design and implement site-specific wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Ergonomic Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive ergonomic risk analyses to identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide first-aid treatment and emergency response for musculoskeletal complaints and other workplace injuries.
  • Health Education and Promotion: Develop and implement health education programs to promote employee health and wellness.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with safety personnel, management, and employees to promote a culture of health and wellness.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform data analysis, complete forms, document patient files, and generate reports to track program effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications: Board of Certification (BOC) certified and state licensure/certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of athletic training experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with clients and employees, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
