We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Particle Inspector to join our team at IronRoad in Fairfield, Ohio. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation based on skill and experience.

About the Role

This multifaceted role combines expertise in magnetic particle testing methods with quality inspection responsibilities. As a Mag Particle CERTIFIED NDT Level II professional, you will conduct inspections using MT techniques and support overall quality control initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough examinations of components, materials, and products to identify surface and near-surface defects.
  • Conduct Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections according to established procedures and standards.
  • Document findings accurately and generate detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and offer guidance on corrective actions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CERTIFIED NDT Magnetic Particle Testing Level
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read blueprints and maintain accurate records
