We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster and maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to ensure an optimal patient experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of six (6) months ED RN experience within the last two (2) years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Registered Nurse - State Licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
