Job Description Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Spruce Point Inn Resort & Spa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance functions, including installations, general maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the facility through our resort preventative maintenance program.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel, inn, or resort and possess knowledge of common vocational skills, we encourage you to apply.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • General maintenance of building and facility: mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Plumbing repairs on fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
  • Maintenance of woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
  • General mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Record keeping, reporting, and submission of reports/logs in a timely manner.
