Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cardio Diag Technician I to join our team at Houston Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms (EKGs) and Holter monitor applications for both inpatient and outpatient exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EKGs and Holter monitor exams with precision and accuracy
  • Process and transmit EKG and Holter monitor data to designated software applications
  • Ensure exams are available for physician interpretation, including paperwork and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to provide excellent patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • None or six months of basic EKG and/or Holter monitor experience highly preferred
  • Certified EKG Technician (NHA) or equivalent certification within 18 months
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with multiple computer systems
  • Strong interpersonal and team player skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple priorities and work independently
