Job Summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Surety Functional Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Sentinel program, you will be responsible for driving execution of Nuclear Surety Scope of Work, adhering to baselined schedules and budgets, and ensuring the program team understands and adheres to contract scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive execution of Nuclear Surety Scope of Work, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Adhere to baselined schedules and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure program success.
  • Ensure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope, managing change as applicable through the appropriate boards.
  • Identify, allocate, and manage program resources, including workforce planning and risk management.
  • Deliver presentations to Customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders, highlighting program progress and achievements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 6 years of related experience or a Master's degree in STEM with 4 years of related experience.
  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active DOD Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Special Program Access.
  • Master's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or software discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent efforts.
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Demonstrated Functional Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and defining staffing requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Experience working with Nuclear Surety Requirements and the Nuclear Certification process.
  • Experience with risk management (identification and development of risks) and driving risk mitigations to closure.
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of the Sentinel program.
