Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Utility Mechanic to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manually spherical lap inner diameters to planning instructions or drawing requirements using a conventional drill press.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a conventional drill press per lead's instructions.
  • Make necessary machine adjustments, such as simple time and pressure corrections, to maintain part target size.
  • Use required tools to break sharp edges on various types of products, including files, electric Dremels, pneumatic die grinders, deburring wheels, carbide bits, Scotchbrite, emery cloth, sandpaper, and polishing wheels.
  • Understand basic machining measurements necessary for stock removal.
  • Measure parts with a caliper and check threads with a thread gauge.
  • Follow verbal instructions to meet cell objectives and written instructions on printed work orders.
  • Communicate process information back to the lead for process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Able to lift at least 25 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, active environment.
  • Team player with a focus on improving cell processes.
  • Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
