We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Clinician to join our team in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and research in the field of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Progressive Care Unit
- Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in the field of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Participate in lectures, presentations, and conferences within the division and multi-disciplinary conferences
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Engage in research and academic productivity in the field of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- MD or equivalent degree
- ABP certification or board eligibility
- Pennsylvania licensure
- Completion of fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine
- Experience in pediatric critical care medicine and evidence of academic productivity and leadership
- Experience in teaching and mentoring
- Research experience in pediatric critical care medicine
- Leadership experience in clinical operations or education
