Assistant Professor Position in Pediatric Plastic Surgery

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Plastic Surgeon to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure clinician educator track at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Responsibilities
  • Teach medical students and plastic surgery residents
  • Build a clinical practice in pediatric plastic surgery, focusing on general pediatric reconstruction, pediatric breast surgery, treatment of pilonidal disease, abdominal wall reconstruction, and basic microsurgical techniques
  • Pursue clinical and/or basic science research related to pediatric plastic surgery
Requirements
  • MD or MD/PhD degree
  • Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or foreign equivalent, or eligibility for such certification
