Your Role

In your capacity as Lead Immigration Counsel, you will serve as the primary legal and strategic advisor for a diverse portfolio of mid-sized and large corporate clients, significantly influencing their immigration processes. This role transcends the conventional immigration attorney position; we are a rapidly expanding, technology-driven organization that values innovation and efficiency. You will have the authority to make significant decisions, spearhead strategic projects, and collaborate across various teams to facilitate our clients' immigration objectives with confidence and ease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Oversight: Guide clients in managing their comprehensive immigration programs, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions to intricate challenges. Lead efforts to standardize job descriptions, formulate thorough immigration policies, and train relevant stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to senior client representatives, nurturing long-term partnerships. We believe that effective immigration programs are policy-driven and require proactive planning for scalability.
  • Client Strategy and Support: Act as the primary legal contact for clients, delivering expert advice on immigration issues. Craft customized strategies tailored to each client's immigration requirements, ensuring compliance and optimizing success rates.
  • Case Management Excellence: Establish legal strategies for various visa matters, including H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, PERM, I-140s, EB-1C, and other corporate immigration cases. Review and endorse casework prepared by our legal and support teams prior to submission, ensuring precision and compliance with legal standards. Leverage our proprietary technology platform to enhance case management efficiency and client communication, aiming to create a robust infrastructure that allows attorneys to adopt a holistic view of the client experience.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain a high level of communication and responsiveness with all clients and their international employees.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Support Representatives, Data Review Specialists, Case Production Specialists, Print Shop, and other internal teams to improve client experiences. Assist in standardizing processes to reduce individual attorney preferences and enhance company-wide consistency.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest immigration trends and legal developments, integrating new insights into client strategies and internal practices. Participate in training sessions and contribute to the establishment of best practices within the team.
Qualifications
  • Legal Expertise: You possess 6-10 years of corporate immigration experience and a comprehensive understanding of immigration law, with a proven ability to manage a substantial volume of cases, from routine to complex.
