The Healthcare Customer Support Specialist (HCSS) serves as a crucial first point of interaction for individuals engaging with our healthcare services. Acting as a bridge between patients and the medical team, the HCSS is committed to delivering exceptional standards of patient assistance and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist patients, ascertain the purpose of their visit, and guide them to the relevant departments.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, address concerns effectively, and update patient records as necessary.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, conduct outreach initiatives, and manage payment processing.
  • Support insurance verification processes while ensuring the confidentiality of patient data.
  • Engage in team discussions, apply problem-solving techniques, and comply with healthcare protocols.
  • Oversee office supplies and carry out additional responsibilities as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Exhibit advanced telephone communication skills and fluency in multiple languages.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, maintain confidentiality, and possess intermediate computer skills.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Preferably possess an Associate Degree or higher.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
