Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality radiographic studies to aid in medical diagnosis. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during scans, while also adhering to government regulations and district policies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review and evaluate x-ray information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
* Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
* Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort during scans.
* Operate or oversee the operation of radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
* Position and immobilize patients on examining tables, and position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to examination specifications.

Requirements:

* Graduate from an accredited radiology program.
* Must be board certified ARRT(R) or board eligible, with certification within 6 months of hire.
* Certified by the State of Washington to practice and administer radiation.
* CT experience required.

Working Conditions:

* Rotates on call duties as assigned by the department manager.
* Documents all patient data, codes, and bills patient data.
* Cleans and adjusts radiology equipment as needed.

Education and Experience:

* Less than 1 year of experience required.
* No guarantee of minimum hours.
