HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the radiology department. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing procedures and examinations under the direction of radiologists and other medical providers to produce radiographic studies for medical diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate x-ray information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure safety of patients and staff.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan.
- Operate or oversee operation of radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Position and immobilize patient on examining table.
- Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination.
- Rotate on call duties as assigned by the department manager.
- Document all patient data, code and bill patient data.
- Clean and adjust radiology equipment as needed.
- Graduate from an Accredited Radiology Program.
- Must be board certified ARRT(R), or board eligible.
- Must be board certified within 6 months of hire.
- Certified by the State of Washington to practice and administer radiation.
- CT experience required.
This is a full-time position with a normal urgency level. The shifts include Friday Call, Saturday Call, and Sunday Call. The position requires a state license to be currently active, and a minimum of less than 1 year of experience. The specialty type is Diagnostic Imaging, and the sub-specialty is Radiologic Technologist, MRI Technologist, and CT Technologist. The EMR used is Meditech, and holiday coverage is required.
