Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled high school educator with a proven history of instructional success. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction that fosters student understanding and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embrace constructive feedback for continuous professional growth.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support all learners, including multilingual and diverse students.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Indiana teaching license or in the process of obtaining reciprocity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Preferred experience includes 2-5 years of teaching in an urban public school setting.
  • Experience in a public high school environment is advantageous.
  • A strong record of facilitating academic success for students from underserved communities.
  • Experience in data analysis to inform instructional practices.
  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to the mission of KIPP Indy.
  • Thorough knowledge of mathematics content and compliance with educator standards.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check as mandated by law.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive benefits package, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
