Position Overview

Medicorp, Inc. dba Physician Empire is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to enhance our multi-specialty group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care as a Hematology Oncologist.
  • Participate in a call schedule, typically handled via telephone, with the option to visit the hospital for patient consultations.
  • Manage a call rotation of one week every three weeks, with nursing staff serving as the primary contact for oncology cases during weekends.
  • Work alongside a robust support team, including two certified medical assistants per physician and a skilled team of 6-8 OCN & ONS certified infusion nurses.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Patient Load

Patient consultations are calculated based on a 2-1 ratio: new consultations count as two, while follow-ups count as one. For example, ten new consultations would equate to twenty.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary above MGMA standards with an attractive bonus structure.
