Customer Service Operations Specialist

Job Overview: Accuity seeks an experienced Customer Service Operations Specialist to join our team in handling various customer service operations including loss reporting, claim processing, and related tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
About the Role: As a Customer Service Operations Specialist at Accuity, you will be responsible for taking loss information from insureds, agents, and claimants via phone or electronically, inputting the data into the system, assigning claims, and issuing pages to handlers when necessary. You will also process miscellaneous paperwork, bills, checks, and medical records related to glass, towing, and minor Workers' Compensation claims.
Responsibilities:
- Input Automobile, Property, General Liability, and Workers' Compensation losses into the Claim System.
- Index various claims documents.
- Pay and process towing, roadside assistance, and auto glass claims.
- Process the Workers' Compensation EXP9 queue.
- Match checks to attachments provided by Claims Representatives.
- Prepare, fold, and mail checks daily.
- Order claim payment audit letters and enter all incoming responses.
- Process medical bills sent in by providers.
- Review and resolve discrepancies with CorVel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Data entry experience essential. Strong background in customer service or training is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a telephone-based environment.
- Ability to work between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., near-perfect attendance, and scheduling flexibility.
- Strong attention to detail, computer knowledge with data entry background.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing situations, and meet deadlines.
