Senior SCIF Training Instructor

The National Security Sector of Leidos is in search of a part-time Senior Instructor specializing in Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) with extensive knowledge and experience in this area, as well as expertise as a Physical Security Specialist. This role is designed to support a program within the Intelligence Community (IC).
All instructional activities will be conducted virtually. An active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is a prerequisite for consideration.
PART-TIME POSITION:
This ongoing part-time role will require approximately 10 hours of work in one month, followed by at least 20 hours in the subsequent month for an extended duration.
The selected candidate will provide dedicated support to a specific office while also offering general assistance to other Directorates, Offices, and Centers as necessary. Responsibilities include gathering information to develop in-house training programs, facilitating training sessions for personnel at all levels, and administering experiential learning opportunities and simulations.
The instructor will collaborate with Instructional System Designers (ISDs) to continuously update lesson plans in accordance with new training requirements and to ensure that technical information remains current. Coordination with Training Administrators (TAs) on class logistics, conducting training sessions, and establishing criteria for evaluating training effectiveness will also be essential. Staying informed about trends, methods, and new materials in information technology training is crucial.
Qualifications:
A minimum of eight (8) years of analytical experience as an intelligence analyst within the IC is required. On-the-job experience in delivering formal classroom instruction to junior intelligence analysts is also necessary.
A BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience) along with 18+ years of experience is required, or a master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
Extensive documented ability to provide instructor-led IC analytic training in a formal classroom environment is essential.
Comprehensive knowledge of IC Analytic Standards, analytic tradecraft, and methodologies, along with practical experience in applying these to resolve intelligence challenges, is required.
Thorough understanding of the IC's structure and the roles and capabilities of IC member organizations regarding analytic matters is necessary.
Exceptional oral presentation skills and the ability to prepare written course materials that effectively communicate learning objectives and relevant content are essential.
Demonstrable knowledge of IC collaboration tools associated with INTELINK-SBU and INTELINK is required.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $98, $177,425.00. This range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation.
