Position Summary:
This is a full-time role, operating from 6:30 AM to 3 PM.

We are seeking a skilled OR Nurse Supervisor with a minimum of two years of experience in the operating room and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Our Operating Room nursing team consists of highly competent professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care, driven by their expertise, compassion, and dedication to evidence-based practices.


The ideal candidate will be a capable clinician with extensive experience in patient care, possessing a thorough understanding of the specific needs of the patient population served.

Demonstrates advanced assessment skills, recognizing the influence of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.

Utilizes the AACN Synergy Model in clinical practice.


Delegates responsibilities effectively, employing the Synergy model of care and acknowledging the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patients, and family care partners as essential resources in planning care.

Assumes a developing leadership role, serving as Charge Nurse when designated.

Provides orientation to staff or students as assigned in the absence of a designated preceptor.

Employs resources judiciously with a focus on cost efficiency.

Identifies and implements appropriate actions in non-routine situations, seeking assistance to address complex challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least two years in the relevant specialty area.
- Must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Certification is preferred. BLS certification is required, and ACLS may be necessary in specific departments.


For those promoted internally or hired externally, completion of UCN/SNM criteria requirements within nine months of promotion or hire is mandatory, including participation in Enhancing your Communication HLC#6488, completion of a formal preceptor training workshop, and enrollment in the LEAP course.
