We are seeking a skilled Fund Accountant or Senior Fund Accountant to join our US Fund Solutions team. This role requires 1-3 years of relevant experience in fund administration, specifically within private equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee multiple client deliverables, ensuring exceptional service.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and other accounting frameworks.
- Calculate capital calls and distributions, including the preparation and dissemination of related correspondence.
- Conduct NAV calculations and prepare investor and compliance reports.
- Engage in daily interactions with clients to address inquiries and provide updates.
- Report within a matrix structure to enhance client services.
- Handle internal responsibilities such as status reporting and time tracking.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Fund Accountant within Private Equity or Hedge Funds is essential.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP is required.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, and named ranges) is necessary.
- Familiarity with Investran is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines is crucial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities are essential for success in this role.
