BryceTech is seeking a seasoned program manager to provide support for our DHS USCG Chief Information Officer and the Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC), as well as the Coast Guard Cyber Security Command.
Client Background:
In June 2020, the Coast Guard initiated the C5ISC to align with the Commandant's Coast Guard Modernization Initiative, transitioning to a function-based support structure to standardize processes and procedures across various locations, missions, and asset types. The C5ISC's primary mission is to unify the Coast Guard's command, control, communications, computer, cyber, and intelligence support structure and business practices to deliver technological solutions for mission success. The C5I Service Center consists of a geographically dispersed workforce of over 1,100 dedicated military, civilian, and contractor personnel committed to fulfilling the demands articulated by the Commandant's Intent, which emphasizes the rapid pace of innovation in the maritime domain.
The Logistician Level III will be responsible for:
- Providing Configuration Management, Configuration Data Management, and Maintenance Data Management support for USCG Ashore and Afloat assets as directed.
- Offering both Organizational and Depot level support in the development, update, and verification stages of Maintenance Standards, Recurring Tasks, Maintenance Items, Cutter Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Requirements Lists, and CM-SETs for all USCG assets.
- Managing updates, changes, and corrections to Configuration Item Functional Descriptions and associated Configuration Items, ensuring accuracy in property values related to USCG supported assets.
Educational Background:
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a Logistics-related field.
Certification:
Specific Logistician Level III requirements will be outlined in Calls issued under this BPA.
Experience:
The candidate should have a minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience in the Fleet Logistics System, including configuration data management and property item tracking in Oracle Fixed Assets Management. Practical experience with equipment characteristics and uses is essential for:
- Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and providing specialized information about equipment.
- Identifying and recommending practical solutions to engineering design and manufacturing defects.
- Developing, installing, inspecting, or revising equipment maintenance programs and techniques.
Additionally, an extra four years (14 years total) of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Skills:
All key personnel must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and possess the ability to read and interpret government policies, regulations, and directives.
This position is contingent upon BryceTech securing a prime bid on the DHS USCG Business and Logistics Management Support Services BPA contract. A Top Secret Security Clearance is required for this role.
