About the Opportunity

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a per diem ICU Hospitalist to join its well-established Hospital Medicine program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
  • Collaborate with the pulmonary critical care team to ensure comprehensive care for critically ill patients
  • Perform procedures such as central line placement, paracentesis, and endotracheal intubation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Eligibility for licensure in Maine
  • Strong clinical skills and compassionate bedside manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
