Job Overview

RAND is seeking a highly skilled Defense and Security Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for analyzing security and military policies, providing strategic and tactical advice to senior leaders, and leading research projects.

Responsibilities

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Ph.D. or Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant research experience in one of the social or physical sciences or other discipline closely related to defense and security. Experience in gaming, security cooperation, or force development is strongly preferred.

RAND offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $262,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
