RN-Clinic Pedi Primary Care Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Primary Care team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
- Bachelor Degree in the field of nursing.
- Leader presence, multitasking, ability to handle both administrative and clinical duties, teamwork, attention to detail, integrity, dependability, communication, adaptability, compassion, empathy, initiative, self-motivation, organization, customer service, efficiency, professionalism.
- 1-2 years experience preferred, not required.
- Phone etiquette, bilingual preferred not required.
- Actively listens and thorough in note documentation, prompt, empathy, adaptability, patience, attentiveness, time management.
- Pediatric experience.
- Medical experience.
- Administer vaccines when necessary.
