About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at VillageMD in Round Rock, Texas. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our integrated care team to deliver high-quality, connected care services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal, professional care directly to patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records.
  • Review patient symptoms, identify diagnoses, and manage treatment plans, including physical examinations, medication reviews, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with other clinical providers, APPs, and physicians to deliver premium care in a 100% outpatient primary care clinic.
  • Communicate assessment findings to inform the PCP of potential gaps in care.
Requirements
  • Graduate and certified from an accredited advanced practice program.
  • Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
  • Comfortable treating adult patients, conducting comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems.
  • Current, unrestricted State license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration.
  • Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
