Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overnight Grocery Team Leader to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our overnight operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department during evening and overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Employee Performance: Provide resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities to ensure employees are working towards replenishment of products to meet daytime customer needs.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Proactively provide excellent customer service during overnight hours, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Help to resolve operational challenges while maintaining open two-way communication with managers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Task Coordination and Prioritization: Coordinate activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure the operation runs efficiently for your team.

Requirements:

  • Work Experience: 1 or more years of work experience or a college degree.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team.
  • Product Knowledge: Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters.
