Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiation oncology department.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient consent and prepare patients for simulation and treatment
- Create and manage simulation and verification images
- Document procedural timeout and prepare patient equipment for radiation delivery
- Plan and deliver treatment as directed by radiation oncologists
- Monitor patient safety and protection procedures
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure accurate treatment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in radiation therapy
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
- Maintain certification and registration in Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
