At Advatix, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Oil and Gas Procurement Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry.

Job Description

The Oil and Gas Procurement Leader will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships. Key areas of focus include:

  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and enhance overall procurement efficiency
  • Identifying and assessing potential suppliers, fostering relationships to secure competitive advantages
  • Implementing cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising quality
  • Contract Negotiation and Management
  • Leading negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Monitoring and managing supplier contracts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and performance improvement
  • Maintaining a portfolio of complex suppliers and overseeing demand planning
  • Vendor Relationship Management
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and partners
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and collaborating with vendors to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with the Data Management team on vendor maintenance, including pricing tiers, promotions, and points of contact
  • Supporting the Accounts Payables team to ensure prompt payment status with vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in procurement, with a significant focus on the Oil and Gas industry, preferably Pipe, Valves, and Fittings products
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management
  • Strong understanding of procurement technologies and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Certifications in procurement or supply chain management, such as CPSM or CSCP, are desired

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
