We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Circulating Staff Nurse in Surgical Services. This is a full-time position with a 10-hour night shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, individualized patient-centered care based on the Watson Model of Care.
- Organize, plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate patient care for a defined group of patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams using the SBAR method.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing preferred; Associate in nursing required.
- Minimum of one to two years of clinical nursing experience in Surgical Services nursing, with current California Nursing license and CNOR certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) are essential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
