Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Financial Reporting to join our team at CNO Financial Group. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will be responsible for managing consolidated financial reporting for the enterprise, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings.

As a leader in financial reporting, you will be responsible for drafting and managing the entire 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filing process. You will review and analyze consolidated financial results, communicate consolidated financial results to management, and lead revenue recognition accounting and reporting.

You will also assist or lead the design of certain complex accounting and reporting processes, lead SOX documentation for consolidated financial statements, and assist in the audit of consolidated financial statements.

We are looking for a highly analytical and problem-solving individual with a strong background in GAAP and statutory insurance accounting. You will collaborate with accounting, finance, and actuarial professionals to ensure timely completion of consolidated financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and manage the entire 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filing process
  • Review and analyze consolidated financial results
  • Communicate consolidated financial results to management
  • Lead revenue recognition accounting and reporting
  • Assist or lead the design of certain complex accounting and reporting processes
  • Lead SOX documentation for consolidated financial statements
  • Assist in the audit of consolidated financial statements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Ten years of relevant professional experience

We offer a competitive salary range of $136,600 - $204,800 Annual, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, short-term & long-term disability insurance, paid time-off and corporate holidays, paid parental leave, and company-paid life insurance.
