Job Summary

CNO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Director, Financial Reporting to lead our consolidated financial reporting efforts. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will be responsible for managing the entire 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and manage consolidated financial reports, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
  • Review and analyze consolidated financial results to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Communicate financial results to management and stakeholders.
  • Lead revenue recognition accounting and reporting efforts.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of complex accounting and reporting processes.
  • Lead SOX documentation for consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist in the audit of consolidated financial statements.
  • Lead or assist in projects to increase close process efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
