**Job Summary**

Michigan Farm Bureau is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented County Administrative Coordinator II to play a key role in building and maintaining an active and growing county Farm Bureau. The successful candidate will be responsible for encouraging member involvement, developing and supporting successful Farm Bureau programs and services, and maintaining accurate and efficient office and financial records.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Encourage Member Involvement**: Work with county Farm Bureaus to encourage member involvement, assist county committees, and support Farm Bureau programs and services.
  • **Develop and Support Programs**: Develop and support successful Farm Bureau programs and services that meet the needs of members, including updating the county Farm Bureau website with member-written articles, county program details, and program pictures.
  • **Maintain Office and Financial Records**: Maintain accurate and efficient office and financial records for the county Farm Bureau, including month-end reports, year-end reports, and monthly bank reconciliations of all county Farm Bureau bank accounts.
  • **Coordinate Administration**: Work with County President(s) and Regional Manager to prepare agendas and provide necessary information and correspondence for board and executive committee meetings.
  • **Health Care Program Administration**: Coordinate the administration of the health care program within the county, including marketing, servicing, and actively selling health insurance products.

**Qualifications**

  • **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • **Experience**: One to three years of general business and office management experience required.
  • **Communication Skills**: Ability to work with the public using various methods of communication.
  • **Promotion of Farm Bureau Objectives**: Ability and willingness to promote the objectives of the Farm Bureau organization.
  • **Driver's License**: Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • **Education**: Associate degree preferred.
  • **Volunteer Management Experience**: Volunteer management experience preferred.
  • **Prior Work Experience**: Prior work experience with other volunteer organizations preferred.

**Benefits**

  • **Full-time Position**: Full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm - 40 hours per week.
  • **Benefits Package**: Full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
