Maintenance and Manufacturing Support Specialist

ASI Doors Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance and Manufacturing Support Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of our maintenance and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Oversee and manage the preventative maintenance program to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth production processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and implement a Maintenance Electronic Record System to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Provide on-call support for urgent repairs and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Assist with the coordination of compliance and regulatory programs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide support for office personnel requests, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • At least five years of maintenance and machine repair experience, with a focus on manufacturing and quality control.
  • Basic MIG welding, plumbing, and electrical skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and management.
  • Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to work from drawings, specifications, and formulas involving limited detail.
  • Ability to use and interpret adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and scales.
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance and Manufacturing Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
