About the Role

At Tapco Inc, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the safety and functionality of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including production equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
  • Conduct monthly machine maintenance and keep accurate records of work performed.
  • Maintain the grounds by performing activities such as garbage dumpster duties, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, disposing of refuse, and snow removal.
  • Paint and perform basic structural repairs to furnishings and buildings.
  • Move, assemble, unload, and store furniture, equipment, shelving, and supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain supplies and tools, requesting ordering as necessary.
  • Run errands and pick up supplies and parts as requested.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Prior maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior forklift and scissor lift certification (a plus).
  • Prior experience using a variety of hand power tools and machines, including saws, drills, and electrical testers.
  • Prior experience organizing and performing work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience working independently and as part of a team.
