We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team at OTTera, Inc. as we continue to disrupt the streaming video space. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging video content that resonates with our global audience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and OTT channels.
- Collaborate with our creative and engineering teams to conceptualize and implement multimedia content strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video editing, including Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard tools.
- Work closely with our social, marketing, and design teams to brainstorm and storyboard video concepts that align with our brand's visual identity.
- Consult with team members to ensure seamless execution of video projects from inception to post-production.
- Develop concepts that bridge consumer understanding to our services offered, leveraging your creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to create engaging and polished video content.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
- Technical understanding of other supporting post-production plug-ins, such as PluralEyes.
- Ability to pitch, film, edit, and create video content for various social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of different editing software programs.
- Attention to detail and creative mind.
- Ability to grasp ideas, gather content, and tell the story intended from vision to final product.
- Knowledge of OTT and FAST spaces, including streaming platforms like Samsung TV+, The Roku Channel, or Pluto.
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience and knowledge.
- Expertise in 3D programs, such as Cinema 4D.
- Motion graphics and animation experience.
- Understanding of the OTT and FAST spaces.

We offer PaaS technical products, white-label OTT/video streaming applications, live/linear playback, and AdOps/RevOps/monetization services. Our core team has been working in this space for 12 years, and we have the connections, know-how, and momentum to continue growing our business at an ever-increasing speed.
We pride ourselves on diversity and working with a worldwide team of people from different backgrounds. Our core team is in Los Angeles, and we have team members working around the world. We have a very collaborative engineering team, with formal standups twice a week, but also frequent informal standups and rubber-duck sessions to help chat through sticky issues.
