Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equipment Sales Representative to join our team at Ag-Pro. As an Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling new and used agricultural equipment and outdoor power equipment to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area, maintaining current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management, accordingly.
  • Sales Management: Maintain sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Business Development: Monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management.
  • Used Equipment Evaluation: Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
  • Financing Options: Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Training and Development: Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
